S690QL plates and sheets are quenched and tempered, high-strength structural steel with good weldability and toughness. Their chemical composition consists of carbon (≤0.20%), silicon (≤0.80%), manganese (≤1.70%), phosphorus (≤0.025%), sulfur (≤0.015%), chromium (≤1.50%), molybdenum (≤0.70%), nickel (≤2.00%), and boron (≤0.005%). They possess higher mechanical properties, such as a minimum yield point of 690 MPa, tensile strength of 770-940 MPa, and good impact resistance at -40°C.
